Those would satisfy me for sure but I'd be happy with just the WR 1.4 TC "if" it would support Sigma's 300mm F2.8. Then I'd have either the poor mans birding combination of the new teleconverter combined with the DA* 300mm F4 or the rich K3 birder using the new teleconverter attached to Sigma's 300mm F2.8 ! A new Pentax 400mm is beyond even my wildest dreams. I don't think we'll see anything like that for years to come....

I would like to see a DA* 100 macro and a DA* 60-250 that didn't breath. Long as we're dreaming I'd like them 2.8 or better, and sharp wide open.

My reasoning on breathing as a problem is here

My dream lens would be the 31mm limited updated with quick shift and weather sealing. It is such a useful focal length on an APS-C lens I would never take it off my camera except for a telephoto shot here and there.

My dream lens would a 24 mm Tilt/shift lens with exact same optical formula as the canon TS-E 3.5 II in pentax mount.

I know with current technology, those fast tele-zoom lenses would be very large and heavy. but who knows what the future technology can bring to us? let's dream in the near future, lenses can be smaller, lighter, better, and cheaper! oh.. I dream too much..

Samsung has just released premium 16-50mm F2-2.8 for $1300. is there any indication that this lens developed by pentax? I heard that Samsung's dslr lenses are pentax rebranded.

That lens isnt for a DSLR, it is for their NX cameras, which are mirrorless.
