That reminds me...

Several years ago I missed a chance to pick up a collection of K lenses: 200/2.5, 55/2, 50/1.4 and 28/2 (yes, 2.0). Seller was asking $150 but it was a 3-hour drive each way. I was one of the first to see the listing when it was posted on a Sunday morning, and I mulled it over for a couple of hours. You guess correctly - the ad disappeared by noon and I'm still kicking myself. My only defence: I was relatively new to Pentax and my LBA had not taken hold. Today, I would be in the car in 5 minutes and on my way.

35mm f/3.5 Model 2 - could be Super or S-M-C
50mm f/1.4 Model 2 (later type) Super-Takumar
135mm f/3.5 (could be super or S-M-C)

I'm back got the set for $100. Quick inspection looks OK but 35 3.5 is cloudy and 135/3.5 is cloudy but the 50/1.4 and 200/4 looks clear and functional. I'll clean them a bit later and see what I got. Really wanted to use the 35/3.5 we'll see what a lenspen and brush can do

Edit: A little cleaning and they all look good except the 135/3.5 has a fungus snowflake/web on one of the inner elements. All Super-Takumar.

Thanks again for the help guys, glad I made the trip

The description is copied from the lens hoods, not the lens so it's hard to say.

If I had to guess I would say the one on the left is a 200 f/4 and the one on the right a 135 f/3.5 but that's only a guess.

.
Correct on both accounts. Thank you for your help

Cool kit! If the Vivitar 283 flash is still operational, it is an additional value point. The voltage is too high for modern cameras, but it is a powerful workhorse.

I hope you enjoyed the drive. After all, what is 160 miles to a Montanan?

Steve
I've got a couple of $3 optical slave things for high voltage flashes. Not advised but I used a 280V flash for a month with my K30 no harm but I know better now.

I'd rather drive 160 miles in Montana than 30 miles in some cities no doubt. For 5 years I had a 17 mile commute that took 45 minutes on a good day 2 hours on a bad day.

So, I'd say:
....(the dot beside the 1.4 is a good tip).....

As for the 35/3.5, the image does not have a 'dot' beside the '3.5' marking.....

Either I'm blind or I'm not seeing the full res photos. Thank you so much.

You are EXACTLY right sir even the 50/1.4 is the later 7 element not the early 8 element - IMO you have won the internet today. Thank you

Nice pickup, hopefully you will also use the "Spotty" you got in the kit. Though it probably needs a visit to Eric for a CLA.

I'd like to try out some film, I have a K1000 also I bought because there was a k50/1.4 on it and another A3000 or something I don't know anything about them really.

I put the first sample photos in the takumar club thread

Everyone, Thanks again for the help. it seemed the consensus was it's a no brainer looking back I should have known that
