The best price in Canada on the DA*50-135mm is $1100. For the DA*16-50mm, $1000. Green, viscous envy is filling my blood vessels. Any American with money who doesn't take advantage of this is a fool (or someone not interested in these lenses)!

Actually, the lowest prices I've seen are at prodigital2000 in Stratford, Ont. Last night I bought the DA* 300 for $1100 (they still have one left, I think) and the DA 35/2.8 for $360 (no more left). I'll get them Tuesday.................. (8- )

https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/general-talk/22555-ebay-seller-prodigital2000.html

overall very positive comments however they seem to scrimp on packaging and some people sometimes have a hard time getting a hold of them
best to call in and make your order from what i've read, to ensure the item you want is in stock

I have bought a camera body and flash from BuyDig and BeachCamera. No up-selling BS.

I bought my K110D there a year ago without issues.

I can't guarantee that your story will be the same.

How can I justify to myself supporting my local shop when the online retailers have these kind of prices...

I have bought a large number of lenses from prodigital2000 shipped to australia. postage is high but fast and well packaged. although sometimes they can be a bit slow to respond to emails they seem very friendly and when I had a problem with a lens after 13 months, when asked they looked me up and within a few hours had sent me a copy of the invoice that had lost.

I bought it for 775€ in Athens.
I sold it for the exact same amount a month later.

Too much flare and some chromatic aberation for my kind of taste. Sharp and fast/exact focusing though. Excellent built.

When you need to try out the item before hand, like the DA* 16-50 .
