I actually just purchased the DA* 50-135mm from 6th Ave Electronics for $698 shipped after a coupon. I'm waiting for DHL to deliver it this afternoon!

Wow! Those are really great prices! DA35 for $360? That's a steal.
LOL, seriously, They probably stole it from someone else and sell it back . I'll jump on that one for sure.

There is an extensive thread on prodigital2000 here. Yes they are cheap but no they do not put much time into packaging and no they will not answer your emails. Also my issue with being overcharged shipping was not ever resolved even though the thread in question got the attention of a company rep.

The best price in Canada on the DA*50-135mm is $1100. For the DA*16-50mm, $1000. Green, viscous envy is filling my blood vessels. Any American with money who doesn't take advantage of this is a fool (or someone not interested in these lenses)!
A Canadian who doesn't live close enough to the border to go buy one is a fool. Or a Polar Bear ;-)

The DA35 is so tempting at ~$360. Sadly I've spent too much money on the DA21 and VL90 recently. Maybe once I get my tax returns...

The DA* 50-135mm just arrived. It's quite a beast on my K100D Super. It barely fits in my new Crumpler 4 million dollar home bag. I did a quick test and the auto focus is pretty quiet. Can't wait to put it to use. I just hope it isn't too cumbersome.

35DA from Henrys

I purchased the DA 35 macro from Henrys this morning,
Canadian price is 449--, current US price 445-- 12 dollars shipping.
Budda, thanks for the heads up on them being in stock, yes thier website says "Preorder now", but when I called the sales rep said that yes in fact they were in stock, and was happy to take my order. No offence to prodigital 2000, but given the choice I would prefer to order over the phone and avoid the E-bay experience whenever possible. Calumet was my 2nd choice but they were at 519-- Actually I was prepared to buy from Calumet 2 months ago when they were listed as available in "5days", but when that changed to "we don't know when" I canceled my Pre-order.
since I've shot with nothing but my vintage 50mm 2.0 A lens for the last 2months, It's concievable that the DA 35 might never leave camera once it's mounted.
My current passion is shooting some horizontal, but mostly vertically stiched panoramas This is my dream lens.

Da 35 F2.8

I pulled the trigger on the DA 35mm F2.8 from ProDigital2000 this morning. Since I work within 2 blocks from them, I went and picked it up this afternoon. This is my second prime. I took a few shots and the lens feels awsome. Very accurate in focusing and sharp wide open.

The other prime I have is the FA 50mm F1.4. I also have a Tamron 28-75mm. I also have the Tamron 17-50mm on the way. I want the FA77mm too. So maybe that is too much. Should I get rid of the Tammy 28-75 now. Please help decide. Thanks.

Prodigital2000 35mm

Anyone know if they will get more in anytime soon? Will the price be the same? I'll get one as soon as it's available at that price!

Going for a DA 12-24, DA 35, DA 70 Travel Kit...

Todd
