different exposure different aperture problem

I get wrong exposures on different aperture setting. At f2.8 i get a correct exposure. Stopped down i get different values, at f4.5 is the most overexposed. I stop down to f8 still overexposed but less then at f4.5. Is it a sticky aperture lever?

(Details: Pentax K-30, 40mm Xs, settings: Bracketing off, Multi segment metering, AF+AE linking off, AV, TAV or M mode.)

Overexposure is about +1EV at f4.5. I appreciate any help and idea.

Put your camera into manual mode with shutter on B, try all apertures while looking at front of lens and you should be able to see if it stopping down correctly.

Ray-uk, i've tried but i can't tell if it's correct, the blades look ok.

The images from f2.8 to f6.3, they aren't much different further.

I get the same results in live view fix ISO or fix shutter speed.

2.8

4.5 Overexposure

I bought two new Pentax cameras with two new lenses in all. Three of four pieces had defects.
Pentax repaired my first camera in 3 months, meanwhile also scratched both the lens and body.

I'm not exulted to send it to Pentax, they repaired my first camera for 94 days and i got back it with scratches.
With the results you have shown it is difficult to determine what the fault is, it could be either the lens or the camera body.
The only way you can really tell is to try a different lens on the camera body, If this cures the problem then you know it's the lens at fault, if it doesn't then it's the camera.
