somebody... anybody... help!

I own a tamron 80-210mm AF lens that I used with my old pentax film slr, which bit
the dust awhile back. a friend of mine recently told me that I could still use the lens
with any pentax digital SLR cameras. i was just wondering if that was true as i would
hate to unecessarily let the lens go. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Yes, some people (like me) even buy used Pentax lenses from film days intentionally for use with a DSLR
The last one was ... wait ... yesterday...
