Landscape Lens suggestions

Thank you all for the help, I guess it would help if I told you I am looking in the $600-$1000 USD range.

I second the 10 - 17. At 10 it's very fishy, at around 15 it's very much a wide angle and sharper than the 15mm Ltd. IMO. Plus it's around half your budget, so you could get another lens at around 35mm!

In that price range you might be able to pull off a DA 15 and the FA 20-35. At used prices, the combined price should be under $1000, maybe even under $750 if you get lucky. You could add, very cheaply, an F 35-70 as a stopgap for longer focal ranges, replacing it with something better later on.

The best one lens solution for landscapes under $1,000 is probably the aforementioned DA 17-70.

From what I've read - no past experience - the DA 15ltd sounds amazing. I've also seen some awesome pics taken with it.
