But on the other hand, those Canon FD lenses aren't that good optically and are a hassle to use, so I don't really use them, so I should get rid of them... if only someone would be willing to take them, that is.
Are you talking first party, or third party FD lenses? If they are first party, I might be interested.

Oh no, cheap 3rd party zooms (see How many lenses do you have? - Page 106 - PentaxForums.com ), sitting in Germany... I doubt that anyone might be interested in them. So they're collecting dust here... when I got 2 of the 3 I have, they were coupled with an old Canon SLR and a 1st party 50/1.8 that I really would have liked to have, but the owner didn't want to part ways with it

I'm rather surprised. The 50/1.8 is probably the most common FD lens made by Canon.

Yeah, but he didn't want to separate it from the camera it came with, and I would have liked to have it (basically for free) because of the "135/1.8" * it would have been adapted to the Nikon1 V1

* I know how wrong this is, therefore in quotes

What are you doing with those Canon lenses on here Yes, LBA just seems to hit sometimes and I've started looking at some of the new lenses just in case I pull the trigger on a K-1

8 zooms - from 10mm to 500mm

plus

21 primes - from 14mm to 500mm

so, a nice manageable 29 lenses....
Pepperberry - 29 is still manageable for sure.

I'm relieved to find that my LBA seems to be a relatively mild case.

In the last few years I've bought, tested, and sold close to 200 lenses on my Pentax bodies. I'm now down to about 40 lenses now.

In the next few months I hope to further reduce my collection to just: 4 for my Q-7, 5 for my K-70, and 10 for my K-1.

I've learned that it's better to master a few lenses then to have many that you don't use much and therefore don't learn to get the best out of them.

The only lens that I have duplicates on is the Leitaxed Zeiss ZF 35mm f/1.4 lens (classic version). No other lens that I've tested has the 3D effect and creamy bokeh that this fabulous lens has.

Been slowly growing. All for Pentax.

-Pentax DA 35mm 2.4
-Pentax DA 50mm 1.8
-Tamron 70-300mm Li LD Macro 4-5.6
-Sigma 17-70mm F2.8-4 DC Macro HSM (Contemporary)
-Tamron AF 70-200mm f/2.8 Di LD IF Macro Lens
-Pentax DFA 100mm WR
-Pentax DFA 24-70mm 2.8
-Pentax FA 77mm 1.8
-Laowa 15mm 2.8 Wide Angle Macro
-Laowa 25mm f/2.8 2.5-5X Ultra Macro
-Pentax DFA 70-200mm 2.8
-Lastly just got the new Pentax DFA 50mm 1.4

So total of 12. The APS-C lenses I don't really use anymore although I still have my K-r. Pretty much been using the K-1 ever since I got it.
Planning to put the DA 50mm and the Tamron 70-200mm on sale soon.

Yes, I know that 75 lenses are more than enough.
But what can I do if I open the ebay app and find a CZJ Pancolar Electric 50mm 1.8 and a Pentacon 29mm 2.8 both in great condition, about to finish with a low starting price and no bids?.
Results:
Lens count raised to 77.
40 euros less in my account (half of it being shipping costs).

I currently have 15 lenses but I'm not really sure why. I do about 90% of my K-1 shots with the D FA 28-105. On the K-3 about half and half with the A* 600 and Sigma 150-500.

DA 15 f/4 Ltd, A 20 f/2.8, S-M-C Takumar 24 f/3.5, A 28 f/2, A 28 f/2.8, DA 35 Ltd, FA 43 f/1.9, A 50 f/1.7.

A 24-50 f/4, A 35-105 f/3.5 Macro, A 70-210 f/4 Macro, Tamron SP 70-200 f/2.8.

I have 21 lenses.

So I started doing my annual year end purge and decided to count up how many lenses I have on my shelves. So after a year I have purchased over 39 lenses in 1 year! I still have 21 of them. I think I'm over my LBA as I think I'd like to sell some more of my lenses but I've enjoyed shooting with all of them to date.

How many do all of you have and do you think I'm crazy to have as many lenses as I do
Is this the Rich Wong from MN?

Hey Allen - I've done the same, hence I'm down to 16. Have the 8 elements 50 1.4 so it's my collector lens but generally like shooting with either the fa31, 43, or the k 28 3.5 which may not be in the same league as the Zeis but has it's own aura about it
