Thanks for posting this, I thought I hadn't seen him about but had no idea as to why.

Detatchable? I think 22. I only use about 19 of them though, does that help or hurt my cause?

Mrs. ElJamoquio is quite a fan, she wants more.

A few too many -
Primes: Rokinon 8 fisheye - Pentaxi DA21 Ltd, DA40xs, DA70 Ltd - Sigma 105 1:1 macro - Hanimar 400mm preset = 6 primes, plus a couple of 50s on film bodies... eight primes?
Zooms: DA L 18-55 (white), DA WR 50-200 plus Quantarays 28-90 1:2 macro, 100-300 & a 28-80 f/2.8-4 arrives tomorrow = 5 zooms.

Hm, better get a Hobbit to ensure I'm not at thirteen!
Oh wait nine primes, the SMC-A 24mm isn't getting used thanks to the DA21 but it's still here... somewhere.

OK 10 days later, a completely different answer
Primes: Rokinon 8 fisheye - Pentaxi DA21 Ltd, DA70 Ltd - Sigma 105 1:1 macro SMC-A 24, DA40xs - Hanimar 400mm preset = 4 primes, plus a couple of 50s on film bodies... six primes?
Zooms: DA L 18-55 (white), DA WR 50-200 plus Quantarays 28-90 1:2 macro, 100-300 & a 28-80 f/2.8-4 = 5 zooms
now add DA18-135 & Tamron 24-75 for seven.

Hmmm, thirteen again? One if not two Quantarays 28-xx going soon though.

8; six primes and two zooms. All K-mount. Seven of them purchased in the last 15 months (when I got my K-5IIs)

20 for K mount (in use anyway)
3 for Nikonos
2 for Mamiya

about a dozen more sitting in a box to be gotten rid of

I don't suffer from LBA... I love every minute of it

I'm along the same lines of Apapukas, I've got 4... but they're 4 great ones. I know if I went on a binge buying lenses I'd feel overwhelmed with options and not take the time to get to know the few I have.

Funny thread.

Almost a year ago, I swore to keep my collection topped off at 10. For a day or two I was able to keep that promise, felt guilty, started buying anew, then felt guilty again afterwards.

Then I decided to add another body, a smaller one, a Q.

I now have 3 bodies (K30, KX and Q), 15 lenses in the K mount, and 3 in the Q.

I'm contemplating on getting the Q7, while keeping the Q.

This year, I swear, I'll keep it at 20, if that makes any sense.
And I promised my wife, that when I get the 31, I'll stop--- every now and then, she asks as to whether I have already gotten myself a 31. Truth be told, I'm not actually looking for a 31. hahaha!

Hmm... only 14. There are only a few more focal lengths I'm seeking, though, so between that and budget (ha!), I doubt the number will climb that much higher.
