I had the idea of shooting every week of the year with a different lens. Just too bad that the number of calendar weeks is unsufficient...

Calendar weeks are fine. You're number of lenses are insufficient. You need more lenses.

Hi Joel,
Welcome, maybe we'll have to ask everyone how much does all their gear weight next......that'll be a lot!

The latest (Phoenix 100mm F/3.5 Macro) is being delivered by Pony Express from Oregon. Actually, Pony Express might have been faster than UPS...

Tracking says it's on time with 3 business days left, but the location hasn't been updated since Thursday (2/25).

I feel your pain, but at least I can shoot every 6 days with a lens and that just about fits.

I pity the fool who is close to one lens per day.

I took into account the weight of each item last year when I went to Toubkal ( 4167m ) In that case I took the K50 , the DA * 16-50mm, gorillapod, circular polarizer and a charger

I'm not quite the fool (not yet anyway). I just did a check and thanks to it being a leap year, it works out that I can do 2-days per lens......

You're gonna Love the K 200 2.5. It's an excellent sharp lens and fun to use.

Yes, indeed. I also intend to use it with the teleconverter, given its sharpness and being a f2.5, I'm hoping it will do pretty well. Interesting thing is it's the same size as the A 300mm but a little heavier, which I really don't mind.

I have two, DA 35 and sigma 50-150. I also have an FA 77 on the way. But I have owned a 12-24, da 21, tamron 17-50, da 18-135, a 28-105, da 50, Rokinon 85/1.4, sigma 70 macro, k135/2.5, k35/3.5, and a promaster 70-300.

This year I'll own the da 15, the da* 300, fa 43, and dfa 100 macro wr. Should be good with that for whatever may come my way.

Edit: I wish I never sold the 135/2.5 or the 18-135. Live and learn though.
