Do you really want to sell your Sigma 10-20mm? I Love mine, and also my SMC 40mm Limited.

I agree though that a 500mm mirror lens is fun to play around with.

for those with multiple lenses who want help on which one to use

this is an interesting idea from D1N0 that I have been using once in a while:

QuoteQuote:
Use your Gear randomly
Since I now have over 90 lenses when am I going to use them all? Even deciding which one to put on the camera is a hard decision. So I googled the internet for something to help me and found this:

Random Thing Picker

https://andrew.hedges.name/experiments/random/pickone.html

I put a list of all my lenses in there, and it generates a random choice. That is the lens I will put on my camera. If I do so every day I will end op using all of my lenses eventually. It's first pick was the CZJ DDR Tessar 50mm 2.8

I won’t sell the Sigma because people don’t pay doodle for them. I really like the results I get with it, however I have Rokinon/Samyang 8mm CSII fisheye and the HD 15/4 Limited which cover my very wide needs most of the time. The 40 Limited is great but sits under other lenses in the bag waiting.

It looks like i am extremely modest compared to some people

My daily use lenses are :
DA* 50-135
DA* 300mm

And the I have a Tokina at-x pro 20-35 which I do not use (a lot) as I seem not to like short lenses

And then I have two 500mm mirror lenses, one cheap Walimax and one massive MTO that won’t fit due to the flash.

Hello,

I have 12 operational lenses :

4 zooms :
- Tamron 10-24mm
- Pentax DA 16-45
- Pentax DA 18-55 WR
- Sigma 70-300 APO DG

4 "M42" single lenses :
- Zenitar 16mm f2.8
- Takumar 50mm F4 macro preset
- Helios 44M7 58 mm F2
- Jupiter 9 85mm f2

4 "K-mount" single lenses :
- Sigma 24mm Super Wide II macro
- Pentax-m 28mm F3.5
- DA 35mm F2.4 plastic wonder
- DA 50mm F1.8 plastic wonder

It's fine like this !

I could like a good 20mm single lens if it was reasonable (quite expensive, like Voigtlander color skopar or pentax-m, k)
And why not a 100 mm macro ... No hurry

I got a few on the cheap whether m42 or t-mount......

accura supertel 200/f3.8 t-mount preset...K-50.....believe it has atleast 12 blades

also a P&B televivitar 200/f3.5 t-mount preset......12 or more blades....k-50....unfortunately this one suffers from haze closed down...have been able to clean most of it but one element I just can't get to.....on the fence getting it cla'd

I had up to 24 lenses at the peak of my LBA. 13 have been sold (in grey). 3 are for sale (orange). I'll probably keep the 8 remaining ones for various reasons. That would be a 2/3 slash, not bad. I think I'm cured.

The 77 LTD is one great addition to an already great collection. However, you will need to complete the collection by acquiring a 31 ltd to go with your 43 and 77!
