I’d become annoyed at the putridly soft corners and distortion the DA 18-135WR delivers, so I added a used Tamron ASPH 17-50 f2.8 SP ii to my collection. Then what did I see, a DA fisheye 10-17 on the Forum. Yeah, snagged that too. My LBA May reach epic levels. I did, however sell two Q Toy lenses, so the same number are still in my collection.

The 77 LTD is one great addition to an already great collection. However, you will need to complete the collection by acquiring a 31 ltd to go with your 43 and 77!
Well I do have a birthday in January

Thanks for the kind comment on my modest collection

Definitely f 4.0, not 1.4, my typo error. In fact, the fastest medium format lens known ever to have been produced is the Mamiya 645 C 80mm f 1.9, and fastest Pentax medium format lens is the Pentax 67 105mm f 2.4. Thanks for noticing and pointing out the error.

Thanks for your comment and the information about your birthday. If I get tired of the 31mm ltd I will send it to you for your birthday.

well the FA 77mm arrived but I am losing my Tamron Adaptall-2 SP 500mm f/8 Mirror (55BB)

so the number of primes ( 16, all Pentax but 1 ) vs. zooms ( 5, all Pentax but 1 )

remains unchanged

Well, I wanted to see if anyone is still responding to this thread.....it's been a long time. I have my most of my lenses still but wanted to find out from others if the addiction has gone away for most here?

How many lenses?

I got about 150 lenses including almost all the P645 and P67 medium format lenses. My collection is growing more slowly but more expensively since I began building a Leica-R collection for my K-1.

I have twelve. Two are used most of the time by my wife so out of the remaining ten are four or five I need to get rid of because I'll never use them. I should get it down to about four lenses in the near future

I still need to cull my herd some, but I keep coming up with (irrational?) reasons to keep this or that lens. For example, I have both the Sigma and Pentax 70-200's. The Pentax is better, but the Sigma is lighter and I have both TC's for it. But I also have the Pentax HD1.4 to match to the Pentax zoom. I haven't been using the Sigma since I bought the Pentax, but if I were going on a longer hike I might want it to carry it. Or what if I had a second shooter at an event?
???

I have the HD FA85, the FA85, and the Bower 85. The newest is so very nice, wonderful color and rendering, definitive focus, but my older FA85 has produced such great images and so much lighter. Final images are not all that different from the HDFA. But it's older now, and I do see mentions of gears failing without notice. The Bower would be a cheap lens to carry if it was going locale I worried about damage or theft, and it has great sharpness and low-light performance. Gosh I wouldn't get much for it in the Marketplace anyway if I sell it
???
The rational side of me says at least 2 or those should go. My inner photographer keeps saying I might regret it.

???

EDIT: Forgot I also had a pair of Sigma 17-50's, and hesitated to sell one for that "what about a second shooter" scenario. Not a terribly rational reason.
