I have 21 lenses.

So I started doing my annual year end purge and decided to count up how many lenses I have on my shelves. So after a year I have purchased over 39 lenses in 1 year! I still have 21 of them. I think I'm over my LBA as I think I'd like to sell some more of my lenses but I've enjoyed shooting with all of them to date.

How many do all of you have and do you think I'm crazy to have as many lenses as I do

I have somewhere between 60 and 90 lenses. I really don't know how many I have..

My latest lens acquisition is the Pentax A 400mm/5.6. So now that makes 7 total. I'm going to give away my Tokina 400mm/5.6 to my brother so that will leave me with 6. More than what I need.

• Zooms = 50-200, 70-150, 28-80 (18-50re tomorrow)
• Adapter= 400, 500 reflex

not suitable for service: Vivitar 24, Tak135/2.5, FA28-90, promaster 28-85

µ43 lenses:

• 35/50 both f/1.4 manual but native µ43 mount (also 17 'tomorrow'=crossing the ocean)
• Lumix 12-60, 45-150
• 4thirds Zuiko 70-300

Nikon-F lenses, unbodied but with µ43 adapter: 17/50/85/90mac, 50-200

Hm, must work on this. Merely 25, in one-too-many mounts.

Oh, I'll play this game.. let's see, I am lucky to own 9 primes and 10 zooms in K-mount. Have been trying to pare down my collection for a while now, but for every one I sell, I sometimes pick up two new ones! :-)

Primes: DA 15mm f/4, DA 21mm f/3.2, FA 31mm f/1.8, DA 35mm f/2.8, DA 40mm f/2.8, FA 43mm f/1.9, DA* 55mm f/1.4, DA 70mm f/2.4, D FA 100mm f/2.8 WR

And for the Micro 4/3 system, my lens collection is far more modest -- 2 primes, one body cap fisheye lens, and 2 zooms.

That 9mm body-cap lens is so tiny, I forgot to count mine! I lost a copy of it for a couple of weeks at the bottom of a daypack.

OK 26 lenses, I feel better now.

It really becomes compulsive doesn't it, I have a similar amount, all bought for different reasons, some because I thought it would improve my photography 😂, some because I thought I could not exist without it, some because they look good and vintage ones for the quality they have but there are a handful of lenses I return to all the time and those I truly appreciate.

Thought I was bad with over 300 lenses. Just picked up some more from a guy with over 1000 lenses. He didn't restrict himself to M42 and K though. Saw this one in his collection. I so need to try it on the K-1.

Let’s see: around 40 50mm or 55mm lenses attached to Pentax cameras going back from M-series to the 1957 AP, plus a couple of Takumar 135/3.5s.

SMC 50/1.2 (lives on a K2), SMC-A 28/2.8, SMC 40/2.8 pancake, SMC (K)50/1.4, SMC-A 50/1.4, SMC-A 50/1.7.

SMC 80-200 and SMC-A 70-210 zooms.

Digital era - 35/2.4, 50/1.8, 10-17, 18-55 mk 1, 18-55WR, 16-45, 20-40 Limited, 55-300PLM.

So, around 58, which is nowhere near a lot of you! 😄
