M lens Aperture Click

When i change the aperture on my M 50mm 1.4 it seems a lot louder and looser than my M 28mm 3.5 or my Takumar. Just wanna see if it's a problem with the lens or if it's supposed to be like that?

Mine is a little noisier and clicks in just a bit different then my other lenses. Not quite as smooth as some of the others, but not bad either. It has always been that way as far as I remember, and I've had the lens for 25+ years.
