Found a Pentax lens in Los Angeles.

I'll be bringing my Pentax gear out of LA back up to Canada for a couple of weeks in August (not southern Ontario/Algonquin park though).
Hard to believe that a population of 1/2 of Canada (SoCal) doesn't have any dealers that stock Pentax.

I started organizing meet ups partly for the selfish reason to try out Pentax equipment before ordering it on line

Heck its cheaper than renting lenses!
Let me know if/when there is a Pentax Los Angeles meeting. I don't have many lenses though - just a 18-55 DA-L, Sigma 18-200 DC and a Rokinon 85mm f/1.4 with my K-30 and not really functional K-x (had a bad fall).

Trying to organize one for World Pentax Day, check the California users group. Unfortunately I will not b e available but hopefully the rest of you can get something going.

I know, Pasadena (Samys) does not count as part of LA, but that was the first dealer that came to my mind. Surely, there must be others.

Frys will sometimes have one or two items but there is no consistency on what they display.
I have purchased a DA Limited at Bel Air Camera in Westwood, but if there is anything in any of the stores out here it is most likely New Old Stock items, which was the case with the lens I bought.
