Just got FA43mm ltd

Dumb question, does the hood screw off? And if so is 43mm filter the correct size?

I comes screwed on tightly from the factory... If you like using filters, the hood screws into the filters nicely, creating a compact filter/hood combo.

Razorly, bitingly sharp past 3.2... Light as a feather. Decently fast AF. Love it. I bought mine finally just a month ago and alrady I use it most.

It was a tough decision so many great lenses to pick from, so I basically picked one in the middle and will continue to build around it. My short list was
FA 43
FA 77
DA 55
DFA100mm
