67mm CPL on 52mm and 58mm lenses?

I ordered a 67mm CPL and few step up rings for lenses and now I'm thinking is it going to be problem with quality of image and with its (un)esthetic look? I mean, I don't mind putting bigger CPL on smaller lens but before few minutes I draw on a paper total sizes of 52mm, 58mm and 67mm and differences between 52mm and 67mm are gigantic.
Should I need to be worried or it's all silliness?

It looks goofy, but works fine. I do 62-58-55-52-49, because I only had money for 62's at the time. I am now acquiring 49's for the limiteds. At least you will being using rings, I often just hold the 62mm filter infront of my 49mm lenses, as needed.

I have not noticed any extra photo quality drop off other than the typical bit from having a CPL or ND piece of glass added. Just buy good filters and you won't notice much degradation.

I agree with Calculator1. The step rings won't be much of a problem, except for flare because you cannot put a hood on the front.
