I noticed that my regular dealer raised the pre-order price of the Tamron 150-600 by 10% before stocking a single unit. I don't think I've seen a pre-order price hike before... So it may not just be Pentax. I wondered if I had missed somethng about the yen/€ rate, but the € only seems to rise against the yen, so that can't be it.
I wonder if the Pentax price hike is simply market-driven. I *think* I read somewhere that K-3 sales have been higher than expected. Maybe the local Pentax market share is increasing due to the very favourable reviews in the local photo magazines?
