Got this in the mail yesterday.
Looking forward to try it out some more.

Took some testpictures at the cat.
Outside it was hard to get in really sharp at F2 but Close up and indoor picture was more ok.

Great lens. Did you get the "A" version with auto aperture? I have this one, it is super sharp even from f2.0

If it's not sharp outside, it probably needs a hood.

I've seen great pictures from this lens, and yours are adding to that

How are the aperture blades on your copy? It's the one thing that people usually complain about, that the blades are so easy to get oiled up...

The aperture blades are oil free. The whole lens looks like new. Got it from ebay at 105 $. K-mount but unsure if it is auto. The speed doesnt change when im stopping it down.

Does it have an "A" setting on the aperture ring?

I see it now, its the one without A settings...but im pretty used to the takumar and the m series so i dont mind that much
