Priced at SGD98 (US$77) plus SGD5 (US$4) shipping, the Adaptist PK+MM Multi Mount isn't the most affordable accessory you'll find, but for anyone with old glass they can't use any more (and a Pentax DSLR to mount it on), it'll doubtless be more than worth the cost. Once installed, you have a whole world of new lens options available to you, something that should get any enthusiastic photographer's juices flowing.

I hope everyone noticed that while this is a clever idea, there is a price to pay with each of the supported mounts.
  • Nikon F: requires shim
  • Olympus OM: requires modification of aperture actuator (lens will also focus slightly past infinity)
  • Contax/Yashica : partial amputation of aperture actuator
  • Konica AR: loss of infinity focus
  • None of the above lock onto the mount
Still, though, this is a reasonable alternative to converting multiple lenses, particularly if you have an extra body available for the project.

I did not realise another thread has started other than the one I created some time ago about PK+MM.
https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/6-pentax-dslr-discussion/247977-manual-focus-galore-nikon-f-olympus-om-c-y-konica-ar-mount-lenses-pentax-dslr.html

I will try my best to answer any questions if you have any. Looking at previous posts, here are some answers:
1. The price is SGD$98 which is about US$78 and excludes international shipping costs of SGD$5 (about US$4).
2. Maybe my website is not specific enough but this current version is only for non-WR DSLR (except K-500 which uses the same WR mount ring as WR K-50).
3. I am currently working on the WR version and hoefully, should be released and ready to ship in a few months time.
4. A word of caution. I do not recommend users new to DSLR or Pentax to try the PK+MM. Original K mount lenses are very good (almost best?) and these camera "modifications" only for the more experienced (and adventurous).

Is there any possible way to rewire the contacts to function Auto focus and exposure using the F-mount portion?

From my research, its not quite possible as there are quite a few things involved which cannot be solved:
1. aperture lever positions are different.
2. Focus screw position is different.
3. Lastly and most importantly, signal protocol for exposure and autofocus between Nikon and Pentax are different and not available to anyone..
