SR on a manual lens question

When i attach a manual lens (ie M lens), and i turn it on, do i set the SR on the length of the lens or do i have to take into consideration of the 1.5x crop due to our sensors? for example. for a 200mm lens... do i tell the camera its a 200mm lens or a 300mm due to the 1.5x crop?

i ask this because i have a kiron 70-210 macro and im noticing that the pictures arent as clear on the long end as i'd hope. of course the SR doesnt have a setting for 210mm so i put it at 200mm. I dont know if its the length or maybe my hand shake due to the Tank-like weight.

any suggestions?

Set the true focal length. Any shake in the image is probably due to you simply not holding the lens solidly enough. SR doesn't make miracles. And, for MF zoom lenses, it's best to set the SR to the shortest focal length, so it doesn't overcompensate at the short end.
