No, don't need help. Just haven't posted anything in awhile and thought I'd share my lens plan (and how close I am). Want a high-quality, compact kit for travel, landscape, wildlife (big mammals, not birds). So here's what I currently have:
K10D (grip too, but won't use it all the time)
DA 12-24
Tamron 28-75
DA 50-200
Here's where I'm going (I'm thinking bump in quality and reduction in weight/size):
Keep K10
Keep DA 12-24
Sell Tamron 28-75 and buy:
DA 35 (city walk-around with macro if I need it...I don't do macro much, so not a priority, just like the focal length)
and
DA 70 (think I'm getting used one tomorrow)
Sell DA 50-200 for DA 55-300 (more reach...yes, more size too, but I wouldn't take it for city travel so a bit more is okay for wildlife...I have the Lowepro 200 Sling which will fit all perfectly)
Add a Kenko 1.5x TC for 55-300 for extra reach if needed.
So ideal kit will be:
K10D
DA 12-24
DA 35
DA 70
DA 55-300
Kenko 1.5 TC
Get a Crumpler 4 million for city travel and I'm set! Thanks for reading!
