I Just Bought My Last Pentax Lens.....

Ok,
Maybe not, But I don't see my new DA35 macro leaving my K10D for quite some time.
Well It is my first Limited lens, and I suppose I could see myself owning a DA70 Ltd.
While I wouldn't say the DA35 is dimutive it's not much bigger than the lens it replaces, the 50/2.0A.
Well that's about it for now. I just thought maybe I would start a new DA35 Thread.

contrats on the new lens. I just ordered one yesterday and am really excited to get it - especially after reading some of the threads here. This will be my first limited as well, I have very high expectations! Can't wait.

Very cool pic of the leaf as well...

I'm still waffling...I'd like to see some professional reviews, as well as all the good anecdotal reviews I've seen from ya'll.

If I didn't already have the 43, this would be an easy decision.

Professional ?
Just what are you implying?
Actually I'm looking forward to seeing the photozone review also.
And if I already owned the 43 ltd I might have passed on it

Professional reviews: PopPhoto, photozone.de, slrgear.com...

As great of a lens as the 35 is, I'm leaning more towards keeping the 43, as it makes more sense financially. I've been selling off some gear and I did some number crunching to see if it would be better to keep or get rid of the 43 for the 35 and the numbers came out in favor of the 43. If I play my cards right, I might just be able to get 2 great lenses out of this most recent fundraising.

Heather, just buy the damn thing already. You get 30 days to play with it, and if you dont like it return it. You know I'm right, and you know you want to.

Yeah, I know I want it, but I know I would need to let the 43 go and I'm having a hard time with that...I apologize if I've gotten on anybody's nerves about this whole thing. :ugh: I mean in the big scheme of things, it's only a lens, but these lenses don't come cheap and I just want to make the best decision possible for my particular situation.

Today, I did pick up a DFA100 on Fleabay for an insanely low price, though. If I told you how much I paid, you probably wouldn't believe me, so I won't say anything more until it arrives and I post the customary LBA thread.

I won't say anything more about whether I'll get a DA35 or not. Let's just say that if I do get it, you folks will be among the first to know with yet another customary LBA thread.

I just ordered this lens, can't wait to take it out. Everything I have read about this lens is stellar, it may replace my 31 F1.8 limited as my "leave on the body lens".

ebay seller ProDigital2000 ... if you buy from them, call in and place an order, their eBay inventory figures are not reliable
