Does this Tamron lens even exsist?

So, I've been scouring the internet looking for cheap alternatives for the Pentax 50-135, and I have came across a few little gems. I've found a sigma 75-200 f3.8 and a fast 135mm lens, but have became fixated on this lens, the Tamron Adaptall-2 AF 28-105 f2.8, which you can read about in this forum (Tamron Adaptall-2 SP AF 28-105mm f2.8 LD IF Aspherical (176A) Lens Reviews - Tamron Adaptall Lenses - Pentax Lens Review Database). So my question is, after hours of research, I have come up empty handed and am wondering if this lens can possibly even exist? Thanks in advance!

Are you looking for the fixed mount version with auto focus? I don't think it was ever made for Pentax. The Adaptall version is going to be manual focus of course, there is one of those up on eBay but it is scratched.

...but it is not comprehensive. The above mentioned lens (model 176A) was made, but it is missing from the Adaptall-2 Web site. Here is a review (by Jim King, legendary lens addict) with photos:

Tamron SP 28-105/2.8 (176A): Pentax SLR Talk Forum: Digital Photography Review

I am puzzled by the "AF" designation for the lens. According to the linked user manual and the review, it is manual focus. This is to be expected since no Adaptall-2 lenses were made as AF. There are AF Tamron lenses with this specification, but I don't believe they were made in K-mount.

As for the OPs query...You can buy the very similarly-spec'd A76-100 model new from B&H:

B&H has two of them (used about $380) at the moment. I see it pretty often there. BTW I believe they are more plastic/loose and maybe derived from an AF design--not solid like most of the adaptall-2 SP lenses.

BTW the Vivitar Series 1 28-90mm f2.8-3.5 is excellent. I have a PK, but it was also made as PKA. It is push pull and variofocal--but I use it for live theater/dance and I find it very fast to change FL and focus (many prefer 2 ring zooms, but I prefer this design).

And I believe the VS1 is less than $100 (e.g., at KEH/B&H--when it comes up).
