HD Pentax-DA 55-300mm F4-5.8 ED WR + K-3 Exif info

Recently I purchased brand new HD Pentax-DA 55-300mm F4-5.8 ED WR that perfectly fit my K-3 and I'm really satisfied with that combo. But, there is a small feature or problem that I want clarify. Why on the info of the picture (EXIF), neither in Lightroom 5, neither in other PP program there is no info about lens? Pretty strange, because this is new lens with new Pentax camera, so I don't understand why there is no info... On the other hand, with my smc PENTAX DA 10-17mm F3.5-4.5 ED (IF) Fish-Eye there is info about lens, and with my old 55-200 DA (which I sold) also every PP program show info...
What's the catch? Do you have similar experience?
Just for info, in my K-3 is latest 1.03 firmware.

The EXIF data isn't just plain text, it won't say "HD Pentax-DA 55-300mm F4-5.8 ED WR" under the LensType tag, it will say "7 203". It is up to the software to determine what that means, if the software doesn't know it displays that field as blank. You have to wait for the developers to update the database. The information is still there, the software just doesn't know what it means yet.

ExifTool is up to date.

Does anybody know when this Pentax lens will be in Lightroom 5.5 database?

I assume you are aware that for the purposes of Lens Corrections, you can select the "old" 55-300mm lens profile, since it is optically identical to the HD version.

Yes, I know that, but I wonder why this lens isn't in the base of latest Lightroom edition and CameraRaw.
