I wanted a wide lens primarily for landscape astrophotography.
I'm a dark sky fan in a huge way.
The art of landscape astro is fascinating. I now have another tool for the job.
You all are a big help. I thank you again.
I was about to be offended by Na Horuk's use of the word, "whine", but they are correct.
In fact, that post in this thread was the reason I stopped deciding and went for what I wanted.

I wasn't meaning to offend, but we had this kind of threads before. People had a lens, they were happy with it, but the reviews were bad so they suddenly had a problem with it. In reality, the only way to judge a lens is by its performance in your hands.
