Camera Lens Rental

Well I went ahead and ordered a Pentax DA 35mm f/2.8 from Cameralensrental.com and it should be here by Thursday. Great customer service and quick timely response.

When I first went to the site they didn't have the lens so I asked if they would be getting one. Response from them was prompt. They said they were getting some in and would let me know when they were in. I got emails and phone calls confirming they had come in and that my order would be processed and to me on Thursday.

What could be better than that? I'm waiting here with baited breath for my two weeks with the lens. I hope I figure out how to use it (I'm sort of new to this). I'll post some photos and give ya'll some feedback on it when all is said and done.

Wow, no one cares about the 35mm Limited Macro lens?

Oh well, I thought I would mention the lens came today. It came in a Pelican Case with lens caps, leather bag and a UV filter. It's a brand new lens and the fit and finish of a Pentax Limited lens is aparent. I just took it out for a few preliminary shots around the garden. I'll see how some of those shots came out a bit later.

Well, I'm glad to know that your experience with them has been good so far. I've given some thought to renting the Sigma 10-20 just to see if I would use anything that wide, as I've never used anything that wide before and would like to try before I buy.
