Lens ID

My nephew found this lens when he was out scrapping this morning. At first I thought it was a Pentax mount but trying to mount it to my K1000, it would not fit, So pics below of mount and front element words. As you will see it's full of fungus.

On the barrel above the aperture ting to the left, it says N/Al-5.

What is it? And worth if you know?

Wouldn't have thought so, given that its Soligor and looks like it has fungus.

Some of the Soligor C/D lenses are pretty good, but I have no experience with that one. They usually don't sell for much and the fungus makes it effectively worthless.

Thanks Jonathan.

Elliot, I thought it wasn't worth anything either so I gave it back to my nephew who will scrap it as metal scrap. He gets almost 10 cents per pound for this kind of metal.

I agree with everyone that it's probably not worth much $$$, but when cleaned it's a decent lens, in my opinion. I have the same one in Pentax K mount, and I really like using it on my ME Super. The macro feature is semi-useful, although difficult to use without a tripod. I wrote a short review for it here:
