Limiteds Verses "M"

I was just taking some pictures with some old "M" series lenses ( 28mm F3.5 & 85mm F2) and by pure coincidence I took almost the same photos with my 43 & 77 Limited lenses. Tell me what you think. All takens with Pentax DS. The outdoor shots were taken on different days and all were taken in RAW mode. The two flash shots were taken using the AF360 flash both as F5.6 just after each other.

I've never had the 85/2, but I do know the 28/3.5 very well indeed, and it is a fine piece of glass. Sharp, almost no distortion, reasonably fast ... what's not to like?

Difficult to make an objective comparison from your images.

However I find the old M series of lenses give a much cooler (bluer) colour rendition compared to the newer lenses. Probably the SMC lens coating has evolved over the years.
