Just got this great lens off flea market for £60 with broken MX attached. It turned that lens has got some sort of haze inside the rear group.

I unscrewed the first element and there is also another behind that pops out easilly - but the haze seems to be further down behind the third glass element from rear.

So I went through all resources I could find - the Pentax -M turns to have an entirely different construction and those videos and tutorials online doesn't apply.

Has anyone had any success in extracting ALL glass elements from rear group of that SMC K Pentax 50mm 1.4 lens ??

This is the very first version of K mount lens with 52mm filter ring.

Thanks for all the help I can get ! Really would love to keep this lens but with haze inside it has low contrast and suffers with lack of sharpness and all sort of glowing in bright light conditions ( even stopped down to like 2.8 ) - past 4 all seems normal.

I think the design should be very similar

Yep these are differently designed. M version seems to be much simpler to get into than K.
