Uhmm..., I don't think this is supposed to happen. Lens element unscrewed on 135mm K

I decided to get some reverse adapters for my lenses for macro stuff. Attached one to my 135mm f2.8 M and attached that to my K-30. It seemed a bit snug on the K-30's k-mount but nothing alarming and removing the lens from the camera didn't raise any alarms either. Removing the adapter from the lens seemed easy, it was unscrewing rather smoothly, then I realized it wasn't the adapter that was coming unscrewed. I was removing the inner housing for the front element assembly (looks like a smaller lens within the lens barrel).

After a sufficient freak-out I took a breath, unscrewed the adapter from the housing, screwed the housing back into the lens barrel, and immediately took some pictures to test the focus. It's a new lens to me so I don't have a baseline for it but the focus seemed fine. Should I send the lens out to be examined? Aren't the lens elements and associated housings supposed to be cemented into the barrel?

Perfectly normal I should think. Many old lenses have been designed that way

Maybe the Takumar Bayonet 135/2.8? All of the Pentax or Takumar 135/2.5s are like this, Super-Tak through K, including the Bayonet 2.5. Some of the 200s and the K300/4 unscrew in the center. This is the K135/2.5:

The lenses that don't have a two-piece barrel like this are the 135/3.5s and the A135/2.8. Or possibly I'm not twisting the A135/2.8 hard enough.
