What other viable options are there for teleconverters in the 1.4x-1.7x, excluding the very rare & pricey Pentax-F 1.7x AF, are there for FA* lenses and K10D setup???

Kenko do a 1.5x and a 2x, and Sigma do a 1.4x and 2x (but may be issues re compatibility so would need to check Sigma site), but there are other brands out there as well which will come out with an ebay search.

kenko, Vivitor all have the 1.4x or 1.5x and 2x TC.

Pentax also have 1.4x and 2x TC but the best one is the rare & pricey 1.7x.

Oh, just throw an old Vivitar 2x TC on it, it'll be fine
