Sorry if this is a basic question. What does it mean when one says that a lens exhibits a great rendition? I understand Bokeh, sharpness/resolution, contrast, and color. So what do you mean with rendition?

Just what you said. All the things you mentioned and probably one or two more. How they all play off one another to deliver the overall look the lens presents.
