Does Tamron 17-50 has SDM ?

Could not find it anywere.
B&H says there is SDM for Nikon mount but nothing about SDM in Pentax mount.

nope it doesn't

it's good and bad... newer cameras can't take advantage, but at least old cameras can use it

Looking at the Tamron site I'd have to say it isn't available in a Pentax mount even
Here's the link

I imagine that they'd design one, if there was enough demand for it, so feel free to contact them about it.

SDM = hypersonic = HSM, etc. Its the motors built into the lens. Makes for faster focus.
