I've pictures taken with 4 zooms and 4 primes... just wondering if anyone can tell which are which. I'd make it a contest and have prizes for the winner but you'll have to settle for bragging rights for the most accurate respondent.

Just for ease of compilation, if you could frame your answer

Where the number is the number of the picture.... no need for commas they're all single digits.

The lenses involved are zooms DA 18-55. DA 18-135, DA* 60-250, Tamron 17-50
The primes are DA21 ltd. DA 35 2.4 FA 50 1.8 and Tarmon 90 2.8
If anyone wants to try and guess the exact lens used, go nuts....
If there is any interest I'll publish the picture with lens info in a few days.

It's not scientific... the criteria was I tried to apply the most representative image I had for each lens in my estimation...without giving more than 5 minutes to selecting each image... so a fun challenge... not one to parade results all over the place and say "I told you so.: Something to keep you amused for a bit if you have the time. I know I have better images for every lens, but I didn't want to make it an all day chore... well except for maybe the 35 2.4, that one the 35 just doesn't get any better.

Comments-You have a very nice kit and the zooms you do have are no slouches (even the lowly kit lens) so I suspect without serious pixel peeping and more examples it is soooo hard to tell the difference. I'm probably going to some side by side testing of my own. Nice thread.

My guess is the primes are 2,3,4,and 6.
Zooms are 1,5,7,and 8.
Looking at landscapes that were probably shot stopped down, the quality is very good with all of them. #2 and #6 have an awesome sky and my primes seem to do sky much better than my zooms. #3 for the sky and also the lack of flare which is also a general trait of primes in that they tend to handle flare better. #4 I chose as prime for the deep rich color, especially the blue, something I get with my primes a lot. I will also admit I may be totally wrong as each lens has it's own characteristics and out of your list, the DA 18-55 is the only one I own.

With pp and resize, I'd say extremely hard to guess. Especially with all that depth of field.

But, hey, I'm just looking at my antiquated LCD monitor that has low resolution, low contrast ratio. and one of those anti-glare covers that fuzzes the image. So I'm not sure I can tell much anyway. Thanks for posting. I'm going to look at others' responses now.
