FA 35 f/2, FA 43 f/1.9 Limited, FA 50 f/1.4, FA 77 f/1.8 Limited
Tamron 90mm f/2.8 di Macro
I'd say that's a first-class kit with nothing missing unless you need a telephoto (I don't). There's no need to buy another lens... until the 15mm limited.

Oh and what have I sold to fund my camera habit? Nothing at all, but I keep promising myself some of this pro audio gear is underused.

I lust love Heathers LBA threads! Especially since were kind of walking down the same path. In fact, we walked down the exact same path with one lens. I bought one of her LBA lenses (F70-210mm) and then turned around and sold it to finance some LBA of my own. Didn't make a profit, but I sold it for more money than it's replacement (Tamron 70-300 Di LD) cost me.

I've been selling of some excess aquarium equipment (tanks, filters, etc.) and have even sold some of the fish I've bred to local fish stores. I've also bought and sold no less than 30 lenses since January. Most were through eBay or from local shops. I know I'm ahead a few hundred dollars, and that's taking the eBay seller and PayPal fees into account.

I'm pretty much done with lenses for now. I've worked my way up to a decent lens kit, but I do need some accessories. Next up for sale are some UV sterilizers that I haven't been using on my aquariums. They should fetch me enough $$$ to finance a studio lighting kit, a nice ballhead for my tripod, and a new monopod. I've also been thinking about a new (used) K10 as a 2nd body or as a replacement for the K100D.

It never ends...

I think I'm done.

But I get panicky when it comes to available 85mm's - I just need them when I see them.

Oh yeah, and the DA 35ltd. That one should arrive by Wed. And the Tammy 70-300 I just got. And the Jupiter-9 I just ordered.

Ah crap, who am I kidding.

I'm afraid that this may apply to me as well.

Status of the ice cream maker...with just under 8.5 hours left, it's up to a whopping $5.05, with 10 people watching.

Once I get the dedicated macro and replacement for the 100-300, I'd like to say that I'm done, but I know I can't, so I'll say that I'm done...

...at least for now.

Since I never buy expensive stuff (except for my camera equipment) I never got something that's worth selling. it feels a bit sad the only thing I got is an old unused ethernet card which is worth about eight bucks, hehe.

The thing I do (as a student) to get to afford new lenses is working my ass off during the summer and then spend almost all money on some nice eq (:

Will try to make some money, sell the sigma 70-300 and get the da* 300.. or maybe sell my soul and get the FA* 300/2.8 haha

Depending on how my Thanksgiving/Christmas holiday plans turn out, I've considered getting a seasonal pt job simply so I can make some more lens money.

Update on the ice cream maker--just under 2 hours to go and still sitting at $5.05, but now I have 11 people watching it. This one may come down to the wire in a bidding frenzy (I hope!).

The disappointing end...

...the auction for the ice cream maker just ended and I got only $8.25 for it. I can't believe it! [sigh]...

I just hope that I can do better with my other sales.

I've sold a Praktica LTL3 + Helios-44M 48mm f/2 + neverready case for about 60 euros.

That's the only sale I've ever made in my life.

This is so funny, b/c I too am in the process of selling on ebay to fund my new kit list. I will have the DA 35mm macro LTD by weeks end tho, which will make me very happy.

Have you seen the price of scrap metal lately?

My main passion in life is building competition 4x4's, and driving them, so I end up with a lot of scrap metal, and over the last few months I've saved enough to buy a 50-135mm f2.8 DA.

...sell my Cuisinart tabletop ice cream maker, of course! I'm not using it, so why not sell it and put the money toward lenses, which I will use. It's a hard-to-find color (hot pink), so when the auction comes down to the wire tomorrow evening, I'm hoping a huge bidding war will break out--last I checked, I had one bid of $ .99 and 9 people watching it.

Keep your fingers crossed that a bidding war will break out and I'll be able to get some serious cash for this ice cream maker.

Eating too much ice cream makes you fat--lenses don't. They just make your wallet and bank account skinny.

Heather (who will happily buy herself ice cream and new lenses)
You could pimp for me for a couple of weeks, that should bring in a couple of bucks...
