I Paid 60 dollars for my lenscal and can calibrate now as many times as I want...

There are many ways to determine lens calibration, but that is not what we were discussing. We were talking about sending the lens to a repair facility for internal calibration, so that it no longer needs AF Adjust.

Once you let it calibrate by the manufacturer it doesn't mean you never need to calibrate it again. The back- or front-focussing is also caused by the usage and the influence of environment. So after 4-6 months a recalibration will be necessary.

That's why I preferred my own calibration reference...
