A Short Walk with the DA35

Did a short 30min walk near my house before work today. Here are 2 photo plus a 6 image hand held pano. The DA35 seems to suit me for landscapes too. I'm liking this lens even more!

All at f/5

the first photo could be a nice DOF / hyperfocal point exercise... check if you actually do get the whole range in focus.

The pano is nice! No stitches at all!

Nice landscapes especially the pano, I like the crisp detail. Could that be North Van in the distance with Grouse and the Capilano watershed in the middle?

I'll try stopping down next time, it was a quick walk so i just set it to f/5 and shot as I went.

My son lives at the base of Grouse mountain on Lonsdale, I've been out to visit a number of times most recently in Feb/ Mar. of this year. Amazing country for landscapes!

I do not intend to criticize your photo, but i don't see what is so special about the photos created with that lens.

Psst...Prodigital 2000 has the DA35 Macro back in stock--5 of them at $379.99CDN/$374.08US+ shipping.

I'm not planning on getting this lens anytime soon, but I wanted to pass this along to anybody who might be planning on it, though.

What software are you using for the pano stitching?

Really dreamy look somehow. Beautiful texture and overall IQ. Stop posting these images. My bank account is running low

It was just a daily walk I do (weather permiting ) This was the first time I did some landscape shots so I thought I'd share them. Nothing out of this world I agree.
