Hello all. I wasn't sure where to post this so feel free to move it if it's in the wrong place.

I'm needing some advice. I have a Pentax K100D Super and was wondering if the Sigma 150-500mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM would fit my camera? Would I have to upload some software for it to work. Been researching on Google and have decided I definitely would like the lens but not 100% sure if it's compatible.

Any lens made by or for Pentax will work on your K100D or any other Pentax camera.

It does need to be the 100D Super to work with HSM - earlier *ist models, K110D and the non-Super 100D will not have the in-lens motor ability.

Yep, Jim is correct. I forgot my K100D wouldn't or couldn't use the HSM lenses. Sorry about that. Haven't had my K100D for 5 years.
