j, I have to agree. I have only played around with the K20-DA 35 combo, but the pix continue to impress me. Sometime I think it must be an accident to get such sharpness but I am now of the opinion that this is simply a great lens. Of course, having it in the '20' doesn't hurt either............
Yeah. Macro and K20D were meant for each other, although I've taken shots with
my M 50 f/4 macro and my K100D that were pretty incredible also. But the K20D sensor just
floors me sometimes, and the images are so croppable, even high ISO shots.
BTW, to all the nice folks who commented and are on the fence re this lens - I paid $499
shipped for this lens from buydig.com, and IMO it's worth every penny and more. If you
can get one from Prodigital2000 for $380 or whatever, holy cow,
no-brainer people!
C'mon, those bugs aren't going to shoot themselves this summer!

A few more:
(still learning DOF with this baby - meant to focus on the foreground eye, got just behind it.
Also, a bit shaky on the handheld, It was a quick shot against a garage wall while a car was
waiting for me to move. Still - this is an example of a 'screwed up' shot with this lens - like
I said before, 'easy macro')
