Best place for DA*300

I think I want to buy one this week or next and for some reason I am having issues finding the deals, my net skills are not what they used to be. Calumet looked good last week, has anyone found it for less than $1000 online recently?

Buddha, I have mine so am not paying very close attention, but I think the lowest price is still from prodigital2000 @ about $1150.......... thirty bucks lower than I paid a few weeks ago......

Calumet has them beat at 1099 and they are an authorized dealer. I am getting anxious.

Hey Buddha,
I got one from calumet through amazon for 1099 about a week ago, I would think they would offer this price again soon. I was going to wait for it to drop to $1100 and read some reviews but when I saw the price I had to get one. Of course it's been either raining or crazy busy since.

Compared to what old F* and FA*'s are fetching it doesn't seem too bad and it seems so good I think I'll sell my tamron 300mm f2.8 to recoup some of it. I was lucky enough to see the deal before it got spread all over the net on one of the forums
