lens stuck on camera

Hello there, I am a new member from Rimbey, Alberta. I have recently purchased an mz 7, and I really like it. But, I had an old lens that was a Pentax base, listed as KR. I wanted to see if it would work, so I tried it on the body of the mz 7, and there it stays!!! Does anyone have any ideas as to how I could possibly reverse my goofy move?? Any and all help would be very much appreciated, dumbfoundedly yours, dale.

You could try a feeler guage, I've heard that can work.

Hey there, well, just as you said, a pin got stuck in the hole for the auto focus, and it would not come out easily, but after a lot of fighting with it, I got it off and took the advice from the site you guys sited, and now I do have another lens to use, and it now works as it should, thank you so much again, have a super week, Dale.

You can remove the Ricoh pin from the lens. It is not needed. I have done it to one of the lenses I have.
