Questiong to Sigma 100-300mm f/4.5-6.7 DL Lens

I have the lens too, slow yeah, autofocus is slow in low light .. but ive gotten some really sharp pics with it wide open (similar to trumpyman's pics). I think with practice it could be great!

I have seen Trumpyman's pics on his PC ... and all I can say is WOW.
The footy and snowboarding images are mind-blowing ... also Bird In Flight shots are amazing too ... I was very impressed with it ... especially with the price he paid as well.

Looking at the high-res images ... to me his copy runs rings around the newer Pentax/Tamron/Sigma 70-300-ish variants.
