Check out the test photos on amazon. There appears to be significant barrel distortion as well.

I was gonna edit away the adjective in question, but you beat me to it.

And before the pedants are all over me: barrel distortion may well be a compound noun.

The sample pics are small, but it looks like it could be a good lens. To bad the aperture is un-coupled, otherwise it would be a sweet lens on an old manual focus film body.

It's not really any different than using a M42 lens on manual.

Ya, I know, but open aperture metering and auto stop down are nice features

A little research shows that Zhongyi used to be called Mitakon.

Manual Lenses Malaysia : Creator 35mm f2.0 ( Hybrid Technology ) ( Previously Known As Mitakon 35mm )

The fame cherry link has the larger versions of the sample photos seen on Amazon.

Was Mitakon really that bad? Their 85mm has got its admirers.

That's pretty expensive for a fully manual lens. If it were $50 shipped I would think about it next month as a toy to try. Otherwise I'm sticking to my Mir 1B and Jupiter 9.

military optical coating technology.
mute aperture is more suitable for shooting. It keeps the vertical incident ray of light, the whole picture of bright, homogeneous and high contrast.

Nice!
