Voigtlander 90mm Vs Pentax M 85mm

Congrats on the K85/1.8.
Its the best 'slower' 85mm for Pentax, imo.

The M85 is nice too, but prone to CA and veiling flare at larger apertures.
Otherwise, a gem of a lens.
So small that its always easy to just bring it along.
Its always hard to describe or show what an intangible element portability is in photos.

There was an option of an M85 for around £150, but this K85 was about the same price I paid for the 90mm APO. I would have loved an FA77, but they are at least twice what I paid for the the K85/90mm APO.
I suspect the Voigtlander may well get sold, the K85 just has 'something' about it.
I look forward to shooting with it on both digital and film!
