Pentax HD DA20-40/2.8-4 AW ED DC Limited

Recently I bought this lens for few days ago, before own this I was amaze about image quality and other else issues that I was worry about. But after own this which a perfect with pentax products, it's worth to me.

Why could I say it's worthy? Here are some answer.
1. Very light, if you want to take picture in your life or travel, it's easy to carry on.
2. Wide open are sharp and have nice image quality, sometimes the image aperture view are looks faster than true.
3. Smooth tone and nice color, stereo are help you take photo in the dark area.
4. I found that is a par-focal lens, if you want to take video, it's easy to use.

Here are some wide open pics I took with K3, and all of image are adjust in camera body.

Conclusion:
If you need a fast lens, this's not a good choice, maybe you have select another lens like sigma18-35/1.8; but if you want a balance IQ, light weight, nice product lens, this will be a good choice.

Nice images, When I saw the press release from Pentax about this lens I thought it is a very nice looking lens.

Though as an owner of the Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 the Bokeh of the 20-40 looks better.

I'll bet you never see anything like this from the Pentax lens ( there aren't any aspherics used in the Pentax DA 20-40)

Those are nice images. They look even better full screen. I am considering this lens vs. my old FA 20-35, and DA 21 and 40. It is a tough call. I wish the Limited zoom was just a little bit cheaper or just a little bit more universally acclaimed.

There'll be deals before the end of the year.

Nevertheless, you need to remember that the Limited zoom has a solid aspherical element,
not a cheap hybrid like in the DA 15 or its film equivalent, the FA* 24.

You have to judge for yourself, and disregard the technogeeks
who forget that lenses are intended to make photographs.

But if you're shooting with a Pentax camera anyway,
you shouldn't be worrying about using equipment
that is not "more universally acclaimed"!
