2X Sigma 50 500mm F4 6 3 DG APO HSM Lens Pentax Sony Canon Nikon Part Repair Lot | eBay


Both copies are missing the rear mount and possibly some of the electronics... it appears the glass itself is there though.. .

Um.. well,... if you can find those parts, align them properly, mount them at the correct register distance to allow full focus range.. its a good deal. But only if you enjoy doing this kind of stuff and have some tools already. I personally wouldn't buy a damaged lens, because I can't fix it

Great price if you have several broken or fungus'ed Bigmas that need repair, plus the skill to swap elements or other parts between lenses. Both lenses in the lot were missing the same parts so you couldn't take the $78 in parts and make your own $1500 lens.

I wonder if those lenses "fell off a truck" in the middle of the assembly process before mounts were attached.

This seller lists bundles of lenses "for parts-not working" he had at one point 4 sigma 70-200mm f2.8 HSM in PK mount. The price is great if you could repair the lenses obviously. It will be a challenge that's certain.

Phew ok thanks.. won't kick myself for not bidding.. I was thinking.. buy this.. send it to C.R.I.S. who will repair it for a few hundred dollars and bingo bango a shiny 'new' Bigma for a third of the cost. haha
