You know your lens is not sharp when...

There are many discussions about the sharpness of lenses. So here is a thread to experiences with lenses that are not sharp at all! Please post your own, let's have a laugh. Illustrative photos welcome as well

You know your lens is not sharp when you turn on focus peaking, only to find its already on!

You know your lens is not sharp when .. depth of field? What depth of field?

You know your lens is not sharp when you start adjusting the diopter, even though you don't wear glasses!

When Henri Cartier-Bresson says good work.

When David Hamilton is using it.

You know your lens isn't sharp when Zeiss and Leica didn't make it.

Damn! I was just about to post that very response!!! How did you know?? (You should hear my daughter talk). There was once a rumor that Sony developed a special soft lens for the HDC1000W . . . .

FWIW, as of Friday Diane Sawyer has been officially boriscleto'ed™. OffAir the set was apparently mobbed, and hip-deep in tears.

You know your lens is not sharp when...

...your teardown, CLA, re-build and focus adjustment results in exactly the same (un)sharpness.

You know your lens isn't sharp when you keep trying to find the peak focus of a manual lens with LV and 10x magnification but just can't figure out where the point of best focus is.
Unfortunately this happened!
