I really liked the M135 on my K100D. Hated it on my K-7. Haven't tried it on my K-3 yet.

Interesting question. Is it the difference in sensor? (ccd vs cmos) Or is it the upgrade in megapixels? Any thoughts?

I love the look the lens gives. 135mm is a bit long in focal-length for most of what I do in digital, but its a great lens for taking pictures of cats.
On the other hand, I wouldn't be without it on my K body film cameras.

On my K-7 the colors always looked too cold, and the images looked dull, unfocused, and not sharp. It was a completely different lens on my K100D.

I have mine since April and quickly became one of my favourites.
Liked it so much that a couple of months ago I saw another copy (a mint, barely used one) in an auction and impulsively made a 15 euros bid, just to find that I became the highest bidder.
I know I should sell one of them (I also have a K 135mm f2.5) but I can't, don't ask me why.

I have no such problem on my K-7.

I just bought the K-3. I haven't tried the lens on it yet, will hopefully have time tomorrow to do so. Maybe it will perform better than on my K-7. If not, I'm sure someone will give it a happy home.

I picked my copy up locally for a song, and it was love at first click.
It's been on my Q adapter for a spell, and needs to get back on one of the big fellows soon.

My first shot with it on the K-01:

My standard kit on my K1000 was the M50 f2, the M135 f3.5 and a 2x teleconverter. This covered everything I needed back in the day. Still have it all and use it all!
