LBA: Pentax SMC 50mm 1:1.2

Few days ago I bought old K version of 50mm 1.2. As I expected it is heavy piece of metal and glass.

Here there are my first shots:

.

Very nice - looks like you've gotten pretty good at focusing wide open - I've heard it's nearly impossible at f1.2.

I really like all the shots, especially the table shot.

Wildly off topic, but that's a very nice (and $$) lens, and you have some exceptional and spendy glass in your sig - yet you still shoot with a *istD? Have you thought about what a K10D, or better yet, what the K20D's sensor could do with that nice glass?

nice photos Piotr, congrats on getting a 1.2, it is definitely very unique.
seems like you're doing very well focusing at at f1.2, i definitely could use some practice.

you might have seen my discussion on the A50 1.2 in this thread here, i also added this post to the list of links as well

Such a gentle bokeh. I've heard sharpness falls off wide open, but with bokeh like that who would ever notice? The last thing I need is another 50... but gee, thats quite unique.

I enjoy your shots Piotr.
